The LaGuardia girls ended their season on a high note dominating Bayard Rustin 13-6. Ava Buckley & Maggie Stuckey combined to pitch six stellar innings to lead the way. Ava was credited with the win. Maggie got the save. Alexandra Brill, Rylan Thompson & Emma Trujillo each scored 2 runs. Alexandra also had 2 RBI. Darcy David & Sofia Kanso-Robertson drove in 3 apiece.

Previously, the short-handed Lions lost 18-11 in a makeup game with Louis Brandeis. Alhia Salcedo had a good day at the plate with 2 hits, scoring 2 runs, while adding an RBI. Darcy David & Rylan Thompson had clutch hits that knocked in 2 RBI each.

We congratulate graduating seniors Aubrey Abramson, Leila Amorosa, Alexandra Brill, Ava Buckley, Naesia Cannon, Camille Henry, Alhia Salcedo & Rylan Thompson. Having lost their freshman season to the Covid lockdown, this group of student-athletes never quit and exhibited great amounts of grit, heart, perseverance, and character over the years. The LaGuardia community is very proud of you and wishes you well in your future endeavors.
