The team took part in the Coaches Hall of Fame Invitational at the       Armory which had lots of high schools from the East Coast.

The Laguardia Girls Basketball team picked up their 2nd win of the season on Friday, defeating HS of Health & Human Services 43-28. Earlier in the week, they lost to Frederick Douglas Academy 44-26.

Boys Basketball had a tough week, dropping 2 to Brandeis & HS of Environmental Studies. 

In upcoming games, the Girls travel to play the West 50th Street Campus on Tuesday. The same day, the Boys are at home vs. arch-rival Beacon.

We are happy to announce that the Music Studio Online Store  is now OPEN, just in time for final shopping for the holiday season!

Holiday pickup day is this Thursday, December 22nd from 3 to 4:30 pm.  Last order for Thursday pickup is Wednesday at midnight.  Any orders received after that will be filled after we return from the holiday break in January.

We will also be selling merchandise at the two Semi-Annual concerts next Wednesday and Thursday evenings outside the Concert Hall.

Upcoming Concerts

Tickets are on sale now for all Music Studio concerts through 1/26.  Tickets can be purchased online HERE until 10am the day before the concert.  They can also be purchased in person beginning one hour before the concert. 

Please consider end of the year donations to the Tech Studio and, if possible, a Corporate Match. A generous donor will match all Tech Studio donations received through December 21st up to $5,000. Click here and donate.

● We need one parent (ideally from Brooklyn) to accompany a small group of Tech students to a school in Brooklyn on Wednesday, 12/21 to strike a set. Meet at LaG at 12pm and accompany students to Brooklyn. You will not need to return to school. Please email tech@laguardiahspa.org.

We are excited to announce that in addition to LaGuardia's amazing free Summer Arts program, LaGuardia Juniors, Sophomores, and Freshmen may apply for the Alumni & Friends Summer Study Arts Scholarships. These scholarships are for students with financial need who wish to pursue the arts over the summer. Last year more than 80 scholarships were given out to students in all studios.
The deadline to apply is January 25, 2023.
