All students who have been selected to perform an act or to be part of the House Band have been notified. If you have not received a notification, please know that this does not reflect your potential or ability. We warmly encourage you to audition for the Finale Act, which is a wonderful opportunity to be part of the show in a big, exciting way. The Rising Stars Production Team is excited to invite all students who auditioned to be considered for the Finale Act. The Finale is typically a high-energy singing and dancing number featuring several soloists, who will be selected from this audition. Audition Details: Location: Room G25 (Basement) Thursday, December 18 Time Slots: • 4:00–5:30 PM • 5:30–7:00 PM You only need to attend one time slot. For students who are unable to attend on Thursday, an additional audition will be held on: Friday, December 19 4:00–5:00 PM Important Note: Students who are cast in two or more acts in Rising Stars are not eligible to audition for the Finale Act. ALL SCHOOL MUSICAL WRAP-UP The Music Studio PA cannot express the awe we feel at the immense talent and dedication of the entire cast, crew, and pit of the All School Musical. Each of the eight performances was truly phenomenal. We would also like to thank everyone who stopped by the Music Studio's merch table and made a purchase that contributes to future performances, and to our volunteers this week including Grace Hsu, Lorene Phillips, Lisa Molinaro, Dena Friedman, and Patricia Martínez-Álvarez.

Sunday, December 21 will be a great day for our Drama studio, with two exciting fundraiser events you won’t want to miss! Fa La La LaGuardia brings the holiday spirit to Chelsea Table + Stage at 1:00pm with a festive cabaret with performances from our 9-11 grade Drama students! Can’t join us in person? The Wharton Sports Analytics and Business Initiative (WSABI), in conjunction with Wharton Global Youth, invites you to participate in the 2025–2026 Wharton High School Data Science Competition. This year’s competition uses simulated hockey data, challenging teams of high school students to create rankings, predict game outcomes, and explore ice hockey performance statistics. This free competition offers students the opportunity to develop data science, teamwork, and problem-solving skills through the lens of sports analytics.

The goals of the program are to: - Reduce the prevalence of substance abuse among youth
- Delay the initiation of substance abuse behavior among youth
- Decrease the negative health, social, and educational consequences associated with substance abuse
- Prevent the escalation of substance abuse behaviors to levels requiring treatment
