SPOOKY SEASON SUCCESSES!

Record Broken!

The Third Annual Tech Studio Costume Sale was a smash hit, topping last year's sales numbers and then some! Of course it couldn't have been done without the help of our amazing volunteers.

Much gratitude to Erin Banks, Nadia Boncheva, Sasha Domnitz, Constance Giamo, Taryn Merkl, Marianna Schaffer, Alessandra and Cynthia Solis Yi, Veronika Surla, Kathy Uggen-Merget, Greg and Tina Vega, and Aislinn Weidele for their time, teamwork, and enthusiasm!

Errand Encore

Volunteers Marcia and Ernesto Castillo went above and beyond last week, handling a formidable sewing machine delivery for the Costume Shop. Bravo, mille grazie!

Congratulations, Concerto Competition Winners!

The annual Concerto Competition Finals took place on 10/7, and we would like to congratulate our three winners:

Kaitlyn Xie, '27 - Violin
Ivan Roman, '26 - Tuba
Andraya Levy Schwartz, '27 - Cello

Photo credits: Merih Anil and Jenny Dumlao

We look forward to hearing these three amazing soloists, accompanied by the Philharmonic Orchestra, coming in the spring on Tuesday 3/31. Congratulations to all the finalists and thank you to all the students who competed this year!

Fall Jazz Concert - Volunteers needed!

The first concert of the school year is taking place on Thursday, October 23 @ 6:00pm, featuring Jazz Ensemble and Jazz Orchestra. Get your tickets now at the LaGuardia Box Office HERE. Want to hear some jazz and help out at the same time? You're in luck! Volunteers are needed to handle and sell merchandise and concessions before, during, and after the event. Sign up HERE or email our volunteer coordinators at musicvolunteers@laguardiahspa.org if you have any questions.

Not a jazz parent? Even better! Volunteering for a show that your student isn't performing in is the best way to get a taste of your student's broader community, and get your volunteering in without worrying about missing your child's performance.

If you have any ideas, questions, comments or concerns then please always feel free to email us at: music@laguardiahspa.org.

YOU CAN’T SPELL FUNDRAISER WITHOUT F-U-N

1:00pm – Holiday Cabaret @ Chelsea Table + Stage

7:00pm – Our seniors will perform at the historic and iconic Players Theater in Greenwich Village.

More info to come. Stay tuned!
