ATTENTION ALL DRAMA STUDIO SENIORS CLASS of 2026!

For the very first time, the iconic Players Theatre in Greenwich Village, NYC has invited the LaGuardia High School Drama Seniors to perform in a showcase highlighting your amazing work from the Drama Studio!

This performance will take place on Sunday, December 21, 2025 at 7:00pm

This will be a senior class fundraiser and all the funds raised from this event will go to your SDFs and anything else the Drama class of 2026 needs this year!

Things to keep in mind:

  • You may perform a monologue, or a scene (with multiple students) that you have prepared.
  • You can use your Young Arts monologues, college audition material, something from your One Acts, or anything you are proud of from your time in the Drama Studio.
  • Your performance must be 2 minutes or less, so please make sure to time your piece.
  • We will have 1-2 rehearsals about 2 weeks before the show and 1 tech rehearsal in the theater an hour before show time.
  • You must attend at least 1 rehearsal before the show, and the tech rehearsal will be mandatory.

This is only open to the Drama Studio Seniors Class of 2026!

No vocal/musical performances at this event.

IMPORTANT: Due to the nature of this being a high profile event at a highly regarded theater, we will only accept students who agree to commit to performing in this event once they sign up.

PODS NEEDS YOU! (ESPECIALLY IF YOU’RE A JUNIOR PODS)

We also have open Merchandising Coordinator positions under the leadership of our Swag Superstar™ Merch Director, L. Scott. We are on the hunt for one Spring Drama Festival (SDF) Co-Rep and one Fundraising Co-Rep and Grant Specialist. Wondering what these roles entail? Want to join our board? What’s the best recipe for bouillabaisse? Reach out to us with these or any other questions or interests at drama@laguardiahspa.org. Elections will be held at our first PODS meeting.
