TECH: The small studio with a huge impact.

VOLUNTEERS OF THE YEAR(S)

As their son graduates, it's time to celebrate the next chapter for two of Tech’s most dedicated volunteers—Jake Daehler and Carmen Lamar Gonzales.

For nine years, Jake has offered his time and energy in so many ways—from being an active member of the Academic Forum to building shelves for storage and delivering water and snacks for concessions. Carmen joined in shortly after and with her incredible commitment kept the merch tables bustling, made sure our cast and crew were nourished during long, demanding show days and helped raise thousands of dollars as Chair of the All School Musical Committee for Into the Woods.

Together, they’ve attended countless performances and provided an endless supply of support, generosity, and humor that’s touched everyone around them.

Thank you, Jake and Carmen. We’re going to miss you both more than words can express! Your contributions to our studio have been immeasurable, and we are deeply grateful.

SENIOR CELEBRATION

The end of year celebration for Tech's graduating Seniors is being held on Friday, June 20 from 12-1 pm in the Little Flower Theatre. There will be food, awards, portfolios and a final chance for Seniors and their parents to gather before graduation day so don't miss out!

POTS WRAP UP

Please welcome our new Tech Executive Board members, Studio Representative Shira Eisenberg and Treasurer Shelly Xiong! Their election, as well as studio updates from AP Eli Schreiner, are in the June meeting minutes and recording HERE.

Happy Father’s Day to all the Dads and father figures out there - you are your children’s North Star and mean more to them than you will ever know!

And many thanks to our whole LaGuardia community of students, parents, teachers, and staff for such a memorable year, on stage and off. Have a great summer, see you all in the Fall!

Dear Dance Families,

A huge congratulations to the junior dancers for their beautiful junior project performances. And big thanks to the teachers, administrators, staff and parents who supported the event!

Finally, one more reminder, as we start to wrap up this year and look to next, that we cannot offer these wonderful experiences without your help. The students put in the heart, but it takes a village to make everything come together. Please reach out to us at dance@laguardiahspa.org if you are able to support the dance department next year as part of the senior committee, or otherwise.

Warmly,

Katie and Joslin

DONORS CHOOSE: SUPPORT OUR TEACHERS

Ms. Rynecki's project got funded! Thank you one more time to each and every member of our community that goes extra to make these requests a reality.

As we wrap up today with our last SNN of the school year, we leave you with two remaining projects that still need some funding. We appreciate your consideration and look forward to continue to share more in the new school year this September.

Ms. Greene is looking to give students access to classroom supplies like post-it notes, chart paper, pens, stickers, and dry erase markers to transform daily lessons into dynamic learning experiences.

Mr. Steffa is looking to provide the soccer team with smaller group activities (the girls will get more touches on the ball!) by having more soccer balls for practice. And providing socks ensures a complete uniform as well remove any financial burden from our players and their families.
