WE NEED YOU!

June 11 - Music Studio Exec Board Election for the 2025-26 School Year

We have FOUR graduating parents on the current board. Although they can never be replaced, we need dedicated parents/guardians to step up and fill their shoes when they graduate out. It is imperative that we are able to maintain a strong board in order to continue to provide support for the future cohorts of our Music Studio. Volunteers are the life blood of all that we do!

We need to elect an Instrumental Rep and a Vocal Rep.

All other positions are selected on a voluntary basis, so just raise your hand, and if uncontested, you're it —YAY!

If contested, there will be a vote.

In case you missed it, Here is a link to the current roles and responsibilities so you can begin thinking about which position you'd like to take on in advance of our June election.

CAN WE COUNT ON YOU?

It's Time to Celebrate!

Dear Music Studio Families,

Thank you for supporting our spring concert season thus far!

I hope you've had a chance to experience the wonderful things we do at LaGuardia through witnessing your children perform at an extremely high level. Our final concert of the season will be the Semi-Annuals, which will be held on June 13th and 14th, featuring the Philharmonic Orchestra and the Senior Chorus. I promise you, this is one not to miss. Come witness the culmination of these students' dedication and perseverance —not just over this school year, but for many, over all four years at LaGuardia. Tickets are available here.

As a reminder, a great way to support LaGuardia and experience a wonderful night out, is to come to our performances. The students love to experience a full house and hear you cheer them on in a performances as validation of all of the hard work they have put in.

Please do not hesitate to contact me at Bschott@schools.nyc.gov if you have any questions or concerns.

Sincerely,

Benjamin Schott

MAD Institute’s Individualized Training: A Perfect Complement to LaGuardia’s Arts Excellence

Dear LaGuardia parents and students,

On behalf of MAD Institute, New York's newest hub for holistic arts training, I am excited to extend a special offer to the current and incoming students of LaGuardia Arts High School. We would love to provide your talented students with the opportunity to experience our unique approach to arts education.

At MAD Institute, we specialize in private lessons in voice, piano, violin, and guitar. Our training goes beyond technical skills, focusing on nurturing both artistry and passion. We believe this approach complements and enhances the exceptional education LaGuardia Arts provides, helping students reach their full potential.

As part of our ongoing commitment to nurturing young talent, we are offering a complimentary 30-minute trial lesson in any of our disciplines to all current and incoming LaGuardia students. This is our way of giving your students the opportunity to experience the same high-quality training that has helped three of our students—Seryna Javier (Voice Program Sophomore), Isabelle Quimosing (Incoming Drama Program Freshman), and Ylise Visto (Incoming Voice Program Freshman)—earn their acceptance into LaGuardia.

To take advantage of this free trial, students and their guardians can simply email a request to info@madinstitute.org

Our lessons are held at AMDA Studios, located at 250 West 54th Street, New York, NY 10019.

For more details about our programs and offerings, please visit www.madinstitute.org. We look forward to the opportunity to work with the talented students of LaGuardia Arts High School and support them in their artistic journeys.

Thank you for your time and consideration. We look forward to hearing from you soon!
