SUBJECT: Music Monday 11.28.22

November 28, 2022
Message from the Reps

Hello Music Studio Families,

We hope you had an enjoyable and restful holiday weekend with loved ones. Now that Thanksgiving is over, it is hard to believe that December is now just two days away. Weren't we just sending our kids off to school yesterday?

As a reminder, our next Music Studio meeting is next Tuesday, December 6th at 7:30 pm. The meeting will be held virtually on zoom - the link will be provided in Sunday Night News and in next week's Music Monday.

The All-School Musical, Chicago: Teen Edition, opens this Friday at 2pm, with previews on Wednesday and Thursday. Come and support the students who have worked so hard on this production and see the wonderful collaboration that makes LaGuardia so special!

We are so excited to finally announce that new merchandise will hit our shelves next week!  Fingers crossed that our online store will open late next week, just in time for holiday shopping!  Be sure to visit us at the next School Spirit Day sale on December 15th!

Happy December everyone!

Giving Tuesday is Here!

#GivingTuesday is tomorrow, November 29th!

Please consider making a tax-deductible donation to your Music Studio. Our current goal is $100,000. If every Music Studio family were to give $100, we'd make our goal. However, no amount is too small and any amount is greatly appreciated, as we strive to support our students by funding master classes, accompanists, teacher needs, instrument repair, behind the scenes needs for our performances and concerts, just to name a few needs.

Simply click on the photo to give, and don't forget to select Music Studio from the list.

Blurb from Ben

Hello Music Studio families,

Most people consider Black Friday as the start of the holiday shopping season. It is followed by Small Business Saturday and Cyber Monday - all days filled with lots of opportunities to save you money as you shop. But tomorrow is Giving Tuesday, it's an opportunity to show your generosity. With your help, we can reach our goal of raising $100,000 to continuously support our Music Studio students.

Please feel free to email me directly at bschott@schools.nyc.gov if you ever have any questions.  I am always here to help.

Best,

Ben
