The time has come for the last edition of Music Monday for the 2021-2022 school year.  It has been a pleasure providing these weekly updates for our Music Studio families!

If you are interested in running for a position (including reps, secretary, treasurer, and volunteer coordinator) please fill out this short form. Responses to the Google Form will end at 5 pm tonight, but we can still take nominations from the floor and hope there will be additional volunteers! 

We need your help, so please join us tonight and step up (or just vote)! Our board for next year will start organizing before the school year begins with preparations for New Student Orientation!  Remember, many hands make light(er) work. Music parents are a fun group, and you learn/feel so much more part of LaG when you participate!

We thanked our parent volunteers last week, but since they are the reason that we are able to do so much for our students, they are going to get an encore of our appreciation - we really couldn't do it without you.

And as long as we are thanking, it is time to say goodbye to senior parents Nan Hawley (MS Instrumental Rep) and Rebecca Rent (Co-corresponding Secretary.)  The very idea of doing this without you is terrifying, but we have learned from your example and will carry on!

We have reached the end of the 2021-22 school year! The PA closes its books on June 30th, so get those donations in. Please make a contribution to the Music Studio to help pay for recent events--the senior class celebration and Accepted Students Open House--as well as the accompanist for chorus classes, additional live-streaming of Music performances, and other concert expenses. In all, we need over $15,000  to cover these items this spring. As a 501(c)(3) organization, your donation is tax-deductible. 

You can make a one-time donation or set up a recurring monthly donation - whichever works better for you - to the Music Studio (and the PA) through PayPal. To do so, click the Direct Donation link below or follow these instructions:

Log into your MTK account, click on Ways to Give under the Donate & Volunteer drop-down menu, then on the underlined red link Donate to a specific studio (2 places on the page allow you to do that). The PayPal page that appears is auto-filled to make a donation to the General PA, but you can designate the Music Studio by clicking on the drop-down menu. Below that box is the option to make your donation a monthly-recurring one. Or, by leaving that box unchecked, the donation will be a one-time donation. 

You can select any amount you like to donate. Contributions are very much needed, and all are gratefully received!
