TUESDAY, 4/12, 7 PM: JOIN
AP-Music Ben Schott will answer parent questions about next year's course choices and auditioning for electives. We will also have two guests from NYC Opera—a singer and member of the orchestra—who will address "Managing Your Health as a Musician." A recording will be made available. Please email questions to by midnight on Monday, 4/11.

Minutes from the 3/2 PA Music Studio meeting are here.

This year's Concerto Concert features virtuosic violin concertos performed by LaG students who competed in two rigorous rounds of competition judged by distinguished alumni musicians from the New York Philharmonic, the Metropolitan Opera, and the New York City Ballet. Accompaniment and additional music will be provided by the Senior Orchestra.

Please join us in the Concert Hall or via the livestream! LaGuardia staff and students should see Ms. Teitelbaum in room 237 for tickets. All others can email to request tickets. The program and livestream info will be here.

Thank you to all who provided audition videos for the May showcase! Unfortunately, with all the upcoming school performances and testing around the corner, we did not receive enough submissions for this event. We'll try again next year.

The school basement will have 2 brand new chilled water fountains with bottle dispensers after Spring Recess! Now is the time to order a very cool LAGUARDIA * TECH DEPT * INSULATED * STAINLESS STEEL * WATER BOTTLE to keep that fresh water cold for up to 12 hours. Supply is limited! We'll start distributing water bottles the week after Spring Recess, and we'll have an engraving pen on hand so students can put their names on them.

See Tech Order Form, and consider making a donation to Tech with this purchase.

Tech is starting a knitting, weaving and crochet unit. Backstage at the opera, some students have already taught each other, and some will have their work featured during the SDF season.

If anyone has extra yarn in need of busy, learning, creative fingers, Tech will take it. Please send yarn donations to the attention of Amelia Dombrowski.
