In honor of Women's History Month, we're delighted to have four female LaGuardia club leaders join us to share their work and goals. We'll be hearing from the Women's Empowerment, LaG (YN), Saving Mothers and Room to Read clubs.
We're also excited to announce that we will have Spanish-, Mandarin- and Russian-speaking interpreters at the meeting.

Student Working Papers Once both your Application for Employment and Health Examination Form have been completed, please log in to your LaGuardia Gmail account (only students can access the documents), and fill out the Google Form, where you will be asked to upload these documents along with your birth certificate and student ID card/passport.

Technology continues to be a pressing need for several of our teachers:
Ms. Bechard would like Chromebooks as backup technology for students to use in Bioethics class.
Ms. Barile would like an Apple iPad, Magic keyboard and stylus to help students visualize concepts while increasing their understanding of science. Ms. Pan would like a new Asus ExpertBook to create interactive video lessons for her students who are home due to COVID-19, making the lessons accessible to them at any time. Ms. Harisiadis would like a MacBook Air to create engaging interactive lessons and show student work.

LaG Virtual Study Groups LaGuardia’s National Honor Society runs LaGPods, which offers free, virtual, collaborative peer study groups for all grades/levels in math, science, social studies, English, world languages, academic Studio classes, and SAT & ACT test prep. All are welcome to join!
Each LagPod decides as a group when to meet (outside of school hours). Leadership opportunities are available.

Dial-A-Teacher This is a free service provided by the United Federation of Teachers. Licensed educators advise Grades K-12 students and/or their parents in all subjects, Monday through Thursday from 4 pm to 7 pm (when school is in session). Assistance is available in these languages: Armenian, Bengali, Chinese, English, French, Haitian-Creole, Korean, Russian, Spanish and Tagalog.

NYPL Brainfuse HelpNow This is a free eLearning service for all provided by the New York Public Library. Live tutors are available online every day between 2 pm and 11 pm EST for these subjects: math, science, reading/writing, social studies, PSAT/SAT, ACT, AP and state standardized tests. Additional offerings include a 24-hour Writing Lab and Foreign Language Lab / Spanish-Speaking Support.
