Welcome to June, Music Studio Families!

We're in the home stretch! The school year is winding down and summer is quickly approaching –Mother Nature received the memo, as the temperatures are projected to climb into the 80's this week!

Thank you for coming out last week to the Cantare Spring Concert at Christ & St. Stephen's Episcopal Church. It was a beautiful concert, orchestrated by Ms. Ballard and the Music Studio PA, to showcase the Roger Rees award winning Cantare choir.  See below for a a few photo highlights from the concert.

WE NEED YOU!

June 11th - Music Studio Exec Board Election for the 2025-26 School Year

We have FOUR graduating parents on the current board. Although they can never be replaced, we need dedicated parents/guardians to step up and fill their shoes when they graduate out. It is imperative that we are able to maintain a strong board in order to continue to provide support for the future cohorts of our Music Studio. Volunteers are the life blood of all that we do!

Meet new people and have fun at the same time!

We need to elect an Instrumental Rep and a Vocal Rep.

All other positions are selected on a voluntary basis, so just raise your hand, and if uncontested, you're it —YAY!

If contested, there will be a vote.

In case you missed it, Here is a link to the current roles and responsibilities so you can begin thinking about which position you'd like to take on in advance of our June election.

MAD Institute’s Individualized Training: A Perfect Complement to LaGuardia’s Arts Excellence

Dear LaGuardia parents and students,

On behalf of MAD Institute, New York's newest hub for holistic arts training, I am excited to extend a special offer to the current and incoming students of LaGuardia Arts High School. We would love to provide your talented students with the opportunity to experience our unique approach to arts education.

At MAD Institute, we specialize in private lessons in voice, piano, violin, and guitar. Our training goes beyond technical skills, focusing on nurturing both artistry and passion. We believe this approach complements and enhances the exceptional education LaGuardia Arts provides, helping students reach their full potential.

As part of our ongoing commitment to nurturing young talent, we are offering a complimentary 30-minute trial lesson in any of our disciplines to all current and incoming LaGuardia students. This is our way of giving your students the opportunity to experience the same high-quality training that has helped three of our students—Seryna Javier (Voice Program Sophomore), Isabelle Quimosing (Incoming Drama Program Freshman), and Ylise Visto (Incoming Voice Program Freshman)—earn their acceptance into LaGuardia.

To take advantage of this free trial, students and their guardians can simply email a request to info@madinstitute.org

Our lessons are held at AMDA Studios, located at 250 West 54th Street, New York, NY 10019.

For more details about our programs and offerings, please visit www.madinstitute.org. We look forward to the opportunity to work with the talented students of LaGuardia Arts High School and support them in their artistic journeys.

Thank you for your time and consideration. We look forward to hearing from you soon!
