ELM Partnership
We have partnered with the ELM Foundation; an incredible organization whose mission is to promote the healing power of the Arts and support young NYC artists. Students from the Fine Art Studio Art Leadership class joined an afterschool Curator class where they have been working with industry Curators and students from Murrow High School to plan two bit exhibition’s in ELM Gallery Space,
Fine Arts Seniors were invited to submit rigorous exhibition proposals that were reviewed by ELM’s Curator and our Student Leaders whose focus was to select a group of students with an emerging aligned theme. Sixteen student artists were chosen and the artwork represents the insight of being a teenage artist covering personal themes of mental health, family and culture.
How is this Show different?
Perspective is an off-site LaGuardia High School Art Exhibition featuring a curated-center style, where viewers are guided by a translucent wall, bridging the gap between art and audience. Viewers will be immersed in a more close-knit setting, celebrating the artists while concentrating on the artwork. The diverse mediums, from charcoal on linen to pinned lantern flies on ceramics, lead viewers through a reflective journey into the life of a young artist.

The show will be open for two weeks, May 4 - 18. The Gallery is free of charge and open to visitors daily from 1PM - 6PM. The Boiler, 191 N 14th St, Brooklyn (Williamsburg)
