After an unavoidable hiatus last year, our beloved all-school musical returned to the Concert Hall stage TODAY and will run until THURSDAY. We're thrilled to see the spectacular shows students and staff have poured their talents, hearts and energy into despite ongoing pandemic challenges.

Presidential Scholar Nominees


Congratulations to Leah Amory (Classical Music) and Eason Rytter (Theater), who are among 60 high school seniors nominated for the 2022 U.S. Presidential Scholar in the Arts distinction!!

The White House Commission on Presidential Scholars will select and honor 20 of these students.

The U.S. Presidential Scholars Program was established by President Lyndon B. Johnson in 1964. It was extended to include visual, creative and performing arts in 1971, and was extended again to include career and technical education fields in 2015.

Mr. G Ben Swope is receiving head lamps for the technical theater students and Ms. Pan is receiving new math books to aid in the professional development of number theory and problem solving!

Let’s help Ms. Sefaj get an iPad and a MacBook Pro to help her students better understand 2nd level Calculus. The deadline to fully fund this project is February 25th!

Our next meeting is on March 1st at 7 pm. Allison Kleiman will discuss how LaG's Guidance department supports students and families from all grades with post-secondary decisions, especially but not limited to college and conservatory applications. Music AP Ben Schott will add how Music faculty fit into this process. Victor Clark, a new Music Studio teacher, will also be in attendance to introduce himself to families.
