LaGuardia’s National Honor Society is offering free, virtual, collaborative peer study groups for all grades/levels in math, science, social studies, English, world languages, academic studio classes, and SAT & ACT test prep.
Each LagPod decides as a group when to meet (outside of school hours). Leadership opportunities are available.

Alumni & Friends Deadline Scholarships for Summer Arts Programs Each year, Alumni & Friends of LaGuardia distributes over $50,000 in scholarships to Juniors, Sophomores, and Freshmen with financial need who wish to pursue arts programs and private lessons during the summer. All details are here.

Ms. Sefaj would like an iPad and a MacBook Pro to help her students better understand 2nd level Calculus.
Ms. Bechard would like Chromebooks as backup technology to support students in Bioethics. Ms. Barile would like an iPad tablet and accessories for interactive lessons and enhanced student engagement in her Biology and Advanced Environmental Science classes. Ms. Pan would like a new computer to facilitate the creation of video lessons for math students who are remote due to Covid-19. Ms. Harisiadis would like a laptop to make English lessons more engaging by using a variety of media and to show student work. Ms. Pan would like new math books to aid in the professional development of problem solving and number theory.

MUSIC NEW MUSIC ENSEMBLE We could not be prouder of our New Music Ensemble, which performed original compositions this past Friday in the Little Flower Theater!

Licensed educators advise Grades K-12 students and/or their parents in all subjects, Monday through Thursday from 4 pm to 7 pm (when school is in session). Assistance is available in these languages: Armenian, Bengali, Chinese, English, French, Haitian-Creole, Korean, Russian, Spanish and Tagalog.

NYPL Brainfuse HelpNow This is a free eLearning service for all provided by the New York Public Library. Live tutors are available online every day between 2 pm and 11 pm EST for these subjects: math, science, reading/writing, social studies, PSAT/SAT, ACT, AP and state standardized tests. Additional offerings include a 24-hour Writing Lab and Foreign Language Lab / Spanish-Speaking Support.
